The patients with secondary tuberculous otitis media are not common, but the patients with primary one are rare.
Many people have been suffered from tuberculous otitis media in tropical and subtropical area, especially in Africa where the people take unpasteurized bovine milk.
The tuberculous otitis media in adults usually develops secondary to the lung, nasal and throat tuberculosis through the tissue contiguity.
The authors have experienced three cases of tuberculous otitis media, of which two cases may be primary and the other one is secondary.
